MS Duct Tape Party

They say duct tape can do anything. We're putting that theory to the test with our annual, epic Duct Tape Party. There will be pizza and tons of games and activities all themed around duct tape.

*HS Service Project

High school students are invited to join us on April 16th for a special service project. We'll have dinner (pizza) and then we will serve. More information regarding the nature of the service will be forthcoming.

*Note: This is a change from the calendar published at the beginning of the year.

Easter

4/20

Join us for our Easter services throughout the day starting with the sunrise service at Leslie Groves park, then our 9am contemporary service or our 11am traditional service. There will be no youth programming on this day.

Donate to our high school kitchen supply

We could use your help in supplying our high school kitchen. The students love to snack and drink. We have created a Google document that we will update throughout the month that captures their favorite things and what we have in stock or what we don't have in stock. If you can help out, check the document by clicking the button below. Donations can be brought on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. All other times, please reach out directly to Ben.

What We're Teaching

The Chosen | @ Middle School Sunday Morning Gathering

Middle schoolers are working their way through the life of Jesus and His chosen followers through the lens of the TV show The Chosen.

Practicing the Way | @ High School Sunday Morning Gathering

The Practicing the Way Course features eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. The Course is the onramp to the Practices and our other resources.

Anxious | @ MERGE

Our young people are living as part of an anxious generation. For the next several weeks, we're going to take a deep dive into the current state of mental health, looking to Jesus for some tools to help us find peace.

RHYTHM | @ Basic

For a lot of us, music is a central part of our lives. In the car, at school, or walking through a store, music gives us a steady rhythm that plays in the background. But the predictable beats and patterns of our favorite songs can do more than just entertain or inspire us — they can teach us something about growing closer to Jesus, too. While growing in our faith can sometimes feel difficult to measure, the right rhythms can help us keep moving in the right direction. In this four-week series, we'll explore passages of Scripture from the Gospels, epistles, and Psalms that help us develop spiritual rhythms that help us grow. Together, we'll be challenged to create more predictable patterns in four key ways: by creating rhythms for spending time with God, using our gifts, sharing our stories, and spending time with others.

My Tech-Wise Life: Growing Up and Making Choices in a World of Devices

We can barely imagine our lives without technology. Tech gives us tools to connect with our friends, listen to our music, document our lives, share our opinions, and keep up with what's going on in the world. Yet it also tempts us to procrastinate, avoid honest conversations, compare ourselves with others, and filter our reality.Sometimes, it feels like our devices have a lot more control over us than we have over them.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

In fact, we deserve so much more than what technology offers us. And when we're wise about how we use our devices, we can get more--more joy, more connection, more out of life.

Tech shouldn't get in the way of a life worth living. Let's get tech-wise.
