Youth Ministry News - March 2020
Bear your share of hardship for the gospel
with the strength that comes from God.
He saved us and called us to a holy life,
not according to our works but according to his own design

Are we there yet? We might be channeling the voice of a young child in the backseat of a long car ride. We're a week into Lent, and those challenges that we've set forth for ourselves - prayer, fasting, and almsgiving - might be starting to take their toll. It's not always easy to follow Jesus! As we walk this path through the desert, striving for holiness, we might be tempted to lose sight of why we're doing this. We're walking a long, dusty road that will eventually lead us to the Cross. It is there that Jesus won the victory for us, and why we will one day - God willing - be welcomed into our heavenly home with quite a few people along for the ride. May we keep striving for that goal!

Below you'll find a listing of the things that are in store for our middle school and high school students in the month of March. I hope that you or your child will be able to join us for some of these offerings. May God richly bless you!

In Christ,
Bradley Barnes, Coordinator of Youth Ministry
