Youth Ministry Newsletter

May 2025

Dear Friends in Youth Ministry,

Easter Blessings to all of you! So much has taken place these last couple of weeks with the passing of our Holy Father Pope Francis. Please see the Featured Announcements section below for prayer resources and helpful information to share with the young people you serve.

May is the third and final month of the Season of Service, part of the Archdiocese of Seattle’s 175th anniversary celebration. As of April 29th, we have logged 159,000 of the 175,000 hours of service! We’re well on our way…

Here’s what you can do to participate:

  • Do you have hours to log? All hours count! Your regular volunteer hours at school, at a parish, in a ministry or even in a non-Catholic organization – for you and all the young people you minister to! LOG YOUR HOURS HERE
  • Here’s a link to all of the marketing materials, including table signs with a QR code to remind others to long their hours too!  English | Spanish
  • See the List of May's Season of Service events here!
  • And join us for Mass on May 31st!

As always, I am here to support you as you minister to the young people in your parishes or high schools! You are welcome to contact me any time – I’m happy talk, email, and come meet you in person, no matter where you are in the archdiocese.

Please contact me if you’d like to schedule a visit!

You can reach me at Kimberly.abadir@seattlearch.org, or 206-274-3175. I look forward to talking with you soon!

Blessings to you!

Kimberly
