Wednesday Night Hang Out Is NOT Meeting Next Week!
The church building will be closed on Wednesday, November 22 - Have a great Thanksgiving! Join us the following Wednesday, November 29 from 6 - 7:30 pm in the Youth Center.
Youth Friendsgiving
Friendsgiving is a chance for students to gather and share their favorites as we enjoy a meal together as a Youth Ministry Family. Students are asked to bring a drink, side dish or dessert that they would love to share with the group. Turkey will be provided by Bobby. We will also be sharing some creative ways to be thankful for our church and the many people who have already poured their time, love and energy into our youth group! Sign up here.
Laudate Winter Retreat is January 26 - 27, 2024!
We will be spending Friday and Saturday together with food, fun, and fellowship and sing for several organizations in the Louisville metro area. Registration is NOW OPEN for Next Summer's Mission Trip!
We are partnering with GO Ministries to travel to the Dominican Republic from June 18 - 25, 2024 and we are inviting our youth and their families, as well as anyone in the congregation to participate! We will be working alongside Dominican and Haitian brothers and sisters to serve communities, shed light on the local church, and bring glory to God. There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, November 19 at 10 am in Fellowship Hall to discuss trip details, price and the basic itinerary. Please contact Mike Porter with questions. Christ Church is Hosting Winter Blitz!
Winter Blitz is a KY Methodist annual retreat for youth all around the state (6th -12th grades) to connect, worship and grow in God's love. CCUM is thrilled to host it this winter in our own Fellowship Hall. Registration is now open, so please sign up here!

Confirmation is an important milestone in one's spiritual life. It's an exciting time of exploring, learning and discerning what it means to be a Christian and a United Methodist. Youth participating learn and practice ways to keep growing in faith and how to live into the vows taken during Confirmation. If your 8th grader plans to participate, you can register them here.
