A NOTE FROM REV. MIKE PORTER, INTERIM DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY

Hello Christ Church Family,

Our Youth Ministry is an important part of the life of Christ Church, and my prayer is that every young person continues to know they are welcomed, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith. 

In the weeks ahead, we have an opportunity to reflect on our hopes for our youth and the future of this ministry while seeking God's direction together. I invite you to join me in praying for our students, our families, and for God's guidance in the days ahead. 

To provide continuity, I will be serving as Interim Director of Youth Ministry. Faith Formation on Sunday mornings will continue as scheduled, and we look forward to resuming Sunday evening youth activities in August. More info will be available at our upcoming Parent’s meeting on July 19. 

Thank you for your prayers, your encouragement, and your partnership as we continue investing in the lives of our youth.

Parent Meeting - Sunday, July 19 at 10 am in Fellowship Hall

Parents, please mark your calendars for this important informational meeting! We'll share a ministry update, answer your questions, and discuss what lies ahead in the coming months. Save the Date for Sunday of Blessings - Sunday, August 23

• One Worship Service at 10 am! (No Children or Youth Faith Formation that Sunday.)
• As part of the blessings during the service, we'll Bless the 6th Graders, welcoming them to Youth Ministry as they transition from Children's Ministry. (Registration coming soon!)
• Church-Wide Potluck Lunch and Ministry Partner Celebration after worship
• Later that evening - Youth Music Opening Night at 5 pm; Youth Ministry Open House at 6 pm
