Youth Catechism • Rolling Registration

Yesterday marked the first day of Youth Catechism for the 2026-2027 year! New students are welcome all year round on a rolling registration basis, with a weekly deadline of the Monday prior to class so as to ensure safety and proper classroom preparation. This means that today, September 21, is the last day to register to attend classes this upcoming Sunday, September 27.

Thank you to all for cooperation with this system, now serving the 196 registered students.

With those nearly 200 registered students and counting, weekly volunteers are still needed to help sustain this great responsibility not only to students & teachers, but other classroom users—all of whom are generously sharing limited space at our growing parish. There are many ways get involved. Please consider supporting these efforts through the sign-up below!

Greek Language School begins this Friday, September 25

Space remains open to enroll in classes for this year! See the flyer and registration form for further details.

Two Hours that will Change Your Life

In this workshop, led by parishioner and former TED-talk presenter, Peter Reinhart, youth will learn practical life skills for overcoming the fear of speaking in front of others and how to make effective, dynamic presentations. (It will be especially helpful for those considering entering the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Competition.)

GOYA Glow Night Fun

This past Saturday evening, in parallel to the many catechetical events happening on campus, some of our GOYANs gathered for fellowship in faith, and brought the sentiment of the bright shadow of the Cross to light in their own way. The Dormition of St. John the Theologian
September 26

"The Holy Apostle John the Theologian says that the commandments of God are not difficult, but easy (I John, 5:3). But they are only easy because of love, while they are all difficult if there is no love." — St. Silouan the Athonite
