Shining God's Light in Florida

This year's worktrip group traveled to Estero, Florida June 18-24 to assist with Hurricane Ian Disaster Relief. We worked on painting a carport and removing and replacing a rooftop. It was incredibly hot and humid but not one complaint was heard as we worked through blood (just a few minor dings), sweat, and tears (of joy).

It would be very difficult for me to find a better example of God's love than those who attended. What an amazing representation of St. Paul's and today's youth. I'm beyond grateful. I hope you can join us July 9 at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary to hear more.

Thank you for your support, love, and prayers!!

Matching Grant Doubles Your Donation

Over the past nine years, the Education Council has awarded 55 college scholarships to students from our congregation made possible by the generous donations from members to the St. Paul’s Scholarship Fund.

We would like to grow our scholarship fund. We have a $5000 matching grant from an anonymous church member. If you donate before July 23, your gifts will be matched up to $5000.

Make a donation online or checks can be written to St. Paul’s UMC with ‘St. Paul’s Scholarship Fund’ in the memo line and mailed to 620 Romeo Street, Rochester, MI 48307. Thank you for helping our youth pursue their dreams!
