What is Operation Christmas Child?
The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items and delivers them to children in need around the world.
Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, has collected and delivered more than 188 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170 countries and territories. In 2021, Operation Christmas Child hopes to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 9.7 million children. Please email jodi@stpaulsrochester.org with any questions.
Make Mealtime Family Time

This is an exciting new initiative designed to encourage families to make mealtime a priority. The goal: Five meals together each week. Begin with one and work your way up. Enjoy mealtime conversation before clean-up begins. Keep the mealtime atmosphere friendly and warm. Make mealtime family time while eating out. Invite Jesus to your family mealtimes, saying a prayer of thanks before each meal. Turn off and put away all devices.

You will receive resources by email that will help facilitate great interactions during meals. These resources are simple and useful whether you are a parent, grandparent, or sharing a meal with a friend. If you would like to be included in this program email Jodi Stuermer, jodi@stpaulsrochester.org
