“There's no shadow You won't light up
Mountain You won't climb up
Coming after me
There's no wall You won't kick down
Lie You won't tear down
Coming after me
Oh, the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God”

Youth Sunday 2020 // Liturgist & Musicians
It's that time of year!!! Youth Sunday is happening on Sunday, April 26, and we're getting ready!

Sunday, March 29th PYC for both MS and HS Youth will be Youth Sunday Preparation. During this program, we will begin to write the liturgy for Youth Sunday.

If you are interested in being a liturgist during Youth Sunday, we will share the link to the Sign-up Genius with each grade on particular days, and older youth get first pick in how they would like to participate. Be on the lookout for this email! Each class has 24 hours to sign up before the next class receives the link to sign-up. Seniors will receive an email tomorrow, February 12th.

CALLING ALL MUSICIANS!! Do you sing or play an instrument? Sign up to contribute during worship on Youth Sunday. All skill levels are welcome. Click here to sign up at the bottom of the Sign-Up Genius.

**If you sign up to be a liturgist in worship, you will also be part of the group writing that liturgy on Sunday, March 29th.

MS Move Up Sunday!

5th, 6th, 7th grade Parents,

Join us on March 8 at 6pm for dinner and discussion. Southeast Pysch’s Jonathan Hetterly (MA, LPC) and First Presbyterian’s Robert Galloway. Our topic for the evening will revolve around the social, emotional and physical development of today’s middle school youth. There will be a time for Q&A with both speakers.

Also, this is a great time for current 5th-graders (Rising 6th) -- and anyone new to Middle School PYC -- to get a preview of what they can expect for the Fall.

Will Appleby Award 2020
We're accepting nominations for the Will Appleby Award!
Will was an outstanding member of the youth group of First Presbyterian Church before tragically passing away in an automobile accident in 2001. He made youth group a priority and was an innovative force and loyal friend within the youth community. Will understood the goals and mission of the youth group and encouraged and inspired his fellow youth as well as many adults. In his honor, Will's family generously established this award to recognize other youth who share Will's love and dedication to the community of faith.

Any high school youth at First Presbyterian is eligible for nomination--with preference given to seniors. Please click here to access the application. Nominations are due by March 2.
