We miss you all already and hope you are safe and well! 💚

Here is our latest update on the library's operating status:

  • Library doors will be completely closed to the public from Tuesday, March 17th through Monday, March 30th and no staff members will be in the building.

  • There will be no circulation of library materials during this time and item due dates will be automatically extended with no fines accruing.

  • All library programming is canceled through Saturday, April 4th. At that point, we will reevaluate and make a decision on future programming.

  • We are continually updating our website ( with new resources, so please be sure to check back. Did we mention we miss you? We really do!

  • If you need suggestions, tech assistance, resources, or information -- really, anything! -- please e-mail the library at our general email address ( or message us on Facebook or through our personal e-mail accounts in the Youth Services Department, which are:

  • Livestream kids events! 😄 Like our Facebook page to check out our virtual events for children! We did a Livestream Preschool Storytime on Monday, which you can view by clicking here. Ms. Melanie will be going live on Wednesday morning (March 18th) for a baby storytime. We'll have a full schedule of virtual events for kids starting next week!

  • Our online library is always open 24-7 with e-books, audiobooks, magazines, and comics ... with lots of fun materials for kids! Plus, some children's publishers have kindly made their e-resources freely available. (Don't have a library card? Fill out the online application here and we'll get you set up!)
