We have an exciting summer ahead of us! The youth team has spent a long time praying over what we should offer to our students at various ages, and we believe the Lord will use these trips and events to grow relationships and further His Kingdom.

Please do not let price of anything be a reason you do not sign up! Talk to Pat or Olivia. We are more than happy to walk through scholarships with you.

First Waco Youth Team

First up, we have our "upperclassman" Beach Retreat! This is for all students who are entering 11th or 12th grade + those who just graduated. We will head down to Surfside, TX June 9th-11th to spend a few days of R&R with the Lord.

Next, we have our 2025 mission trip! This year, we will be heading up the road to Arlington, TX to partner with Mission Arlington, an organization that serves the Arlington and greater DFW area. The trip is open to all students and we look forward to serving with each of you! If you are a parent who is interested in serving with us as well, let us know.

Finally, we have our Middle School VBS!

VBS has been around for years, but just last year we started a new Middle School only VBS for our entering 6th-8th grade students. Don't worry, we will still have the games and fun of VBS, just on an elevated level suited for our middle school students!

VBS is also a time for our High School students to step up and serve! They have the opportunity to shepherd kids, lead activities, and assist in whatever Ms.Tara my need for the week. Then, once the night is done we will have "linger longer" activities from 8:30-9:30pm. This is a chance for the students to connect with each other (since they are focused on the kids during VBS) and hangout! We will send the list of linger longer activities closer to VBS time.
