YOUTH MINISTRY NEWS

This Sunday, April 6, is Youth Sunday.

Our theme is "Lost and Found."

• Members of youth group who are not in the Youth Choir should be in the Sanctuary by 9:30 ready to practice our anthem, walk through the service, and then get ready to welcome people to worship.

• It is going to be a great Sunday. The youth are doing almost everything- singing, preaching, reading, ushering... Come support your fellow youth as they lead us in worship.

• NO YOUTH GROUP on Sunday because of Youth Sunday. Spend some time with your families.

Thank you to the small groups that helped stuff Easter eggs. You did almost 1500 of them!!

As a reward, your SGLs are working on a youth group Easter egg hunt. But with a twist. Think Easter egg hunt meets capture the flag with water balloons, colored powder and SGLs in costume (see below). Word of advice- watch out for Meghan Leeper. She has a wicked arm.

Have you been confirmed and are interested in serving as an Elder, Deacon or member of the Nominating Committee or think you know someone who would do a good job? Send that name to Peter Henry ASAP! FYI- Elders are the overall leaders, deacons are the folks who help provide care and the Nominating Committee are the people who find the folks to lead and care.
