In early February, young people around the world joined in prayer. These prayer gatherings took on many forms – celebrations in Peru, traditional flag-raising in India, multi-church worship in the US, thoughtful reflection in Mexico, energetic gatherings in Ghana, heartfelt prayer in Pakistan, Spirit-filled fellowship in Hungary, and many others! All were united by the C.E. conviction that prayer is essential. Prayer Week serves as a focal point to empower young people and unite our global network.
This years’ theme - “Wake Up and Rise!” (Romans 13:11-12) was developed by the “U30 Collective”, a group of young people around the world who collaborate and plan through WhatsApp. God continues to use a prayer movement, which inspired Francis Clark to found C.E. 139 years ago, to empower young people for His glory around the world!
