Hi Friends!

Happy 2023! I hope everyone has had a great week back to school and work and have settled back into their groove. The first week back after the holidays is always a little tough, but for me, the glimmer of light during this time is Epiphany. Epiphany Sunday, which celebrates the coming of the Magi, and Epiphany season always represent the hope of the new year in my life, and the light that shines during the darkest time of the year. I love taking this time between Christmas and Epiphany Sunday to reflect on myself, my life, and the ways in which I want to grow as a person and as a Christian during the next year. I hope you will join me this week in thinking of the ways in which you hope to grow spiritually in 2023, both at home and at All Saints.

I also hope you will join us on Sunday night for our SNL Epiphany Party and Burning of the Greens! This will be a fun way to celebrate Epiphany and to kick off the new year together! Details can be found below.

JANUARY SAVE THE DATES

EPIPHANY PARTY AND BURNING OF THE GREENS

This Sunday is our SNL Epiphany Party and Burning of the Greens!

The Feast of the Epiphany is the 12th night of Christmas and celebrates the coming of the magi...so let's have a traditional party to celebrate! We will have a pizza dinner with king cake, a traditional burning of the greens (so bring a branch from your tree or wreath to burn in our bonfire!) and we will go home with chalk to chalk our doors at home! Dress warm and bring a friend!

YOUTH CONFIRMATION: LAST WEEK TO REGISTER

We are preparing to begin our next youth confirmation class beginning in January! Youth confirmation classes are open to all 8th graders and older who are members at All Saints. We will begin with a Confirmation Overnight Retreat on Friday, January 20th in The Attic, which will be a chance for the youth to build community, get to know each other, and prepare their hearts and minds for confirmation. Our classes will then begin on January 22nd.

Before registering for youth confirmation, please read through our Confirmation Handbook to make sure the schedule and commitments work for your family!
