Youth Update: SNL, New "High School Corner", and more

Hi Friends!

Beginning this week, you will start to see some new additions to our emails and weekly schedule start to roll out. This week, I want to draw your attention to our new "High School Corner" where you can find offerings targeted towards our 9th-12th graders.

This week, we will begin "Compline and Conversation" via Zoom which will be a weekly 30 minute or less check-in for our high schoolers where we can talk about our week and pray together. I hope all of our high school students can join us and that this will become a part of their weekly routine and a place where they can find a few moments in between homework, sports, and curricular activities to just take a breath and be with each other.

We have other exciting plans in the works, so be sure to check your email each week to see whats going on in The Attic! See you Sunday!

Youth Sunday is coming up at the end of the month, so let's plan our perfect Youth Sunday Service! Come with all the ideas and what you might want to do during the service. We will also create a banner that represents our ministry that we will use during the procession.

Mark your calendars for these two classes. If you haven't come to this class before, please join us now. The most important part of the class is the sharing we do with each other. We are all on this faith journey together. We want to be intentional about sharing our faith with our children. And we have a lot of learned wisdom in the room to help each other and come beside each other with support and empathy and ideas.

HIGH SCHOOL CORNER

Starting This Week:

High School Compline and Conversation

Join us weekly on Zoom for a 30 minute mid-week check-in! We will talk about our weeks, offer up prayers for each other, and close with Compline (night time prayer.) We hope this will be a fruitful time for our high schoolers each week.
