Dear Youth Ministry Partners,
The Youth Connection Task Force of Mission Presbytery invites each church to send delegates to attend the summer meeting of the presbytery to participate in the “Youth at Presbytery” (Y@P) program.
This summer's meeting is at San Pedro Presbyterian Church in San Antonio on June 16-17-.
Who can attend?...current and rising high school students
The purpose of the program is to provide youth with an understanding of our polity and to observe the way we function as a connectional church. The youth delegates will attend and participate in portions of the meeting, participate in workshops and small group discussions, and prepare and lead worship on Saturday morning. We will also have a fun time for recreation and fellowship on Friday evening!
The cost for each youth is $30, which is paid by their home church. This includes the overnight stay, snacks, Friday night dinner, and Saturday morning breakfast. Transportation for your youth delegates to and from San Pedro is the responsibility of your church pastor and/or elder commissioners.
To register your youth, fill out this form and submit it by June 5, 2023.
After you submit your form, please mail your church’s check (made payable to Mission Presbytery) to the attention of YCTF at the Presbytery office or online via this link (pay in the "registrations" category and note Youth at Presbytery). Registered youth will receive an email confirmation with a what-to-bring list and a schedule.
Note: OUR CORRESPONDENCE WITH YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES WILL BE BY EMAIL.
