COLORADO #141
LAST MINUTE DISCOUNT ANTELOPE (RANCHING FOR WILDLIFE)
| | |
This may be your last chance to hunt antelope in Colorado this fall. And this is a unique opportunity, as Ranching for Wildlife hunts can set their own season dates, and they offer a guaranteed license (meaning no draw required!). Since every State in the West has a draw system for antelope, this is a huge PLUS for hunters. Instead of collecting points for years, you can simply book this hunt and go! Success has historically been approx. 100% on this 42,000-acre ranch, and the outfitter expects the same this year. Hunt takes place near Steamboat Springs.
| | |
Due to a last minute cancellation, these 3-day hunts have been reduced from the regular price of $4,250 to $3,750 per hunter 2x1, meals and lodging included.
DATES: August 22-24, 2025 (2 spots)

YUKON #16
SAVE $4000! GIANT BULL MOOSE PLUS GRIZZLY
| | |
LAST MINUTE DISCOUNT- SAVE $4,000!
This outfitter holds the exclusive guiding rights to the largest outfitting concession in the Yukon, covering approximately 14 million acres or 21,600 square miles of prime wilderness hunting ground, much of which has never been touched and holds some of the most abundant big game found in the Yukon. It is estimated there are 10,000 moose in this area, and close to 25 different camps are utilized. Moose are their specialty, with an average success rate of 95% and 62” in antler width.
There is one jet-boat hunt remaining for this fall, at a substantial discount. This hunt is also nearly all-inclusive; there is no additional costs for the round trip charter from Whitehorse, royalty fee, taxes or the moose tag. The only additional expenses will be flights to Whitehorse, a $150 hunting license, any unscheduled flights or early departure, and any expenses for trophy prep and export.
| | |
Reg. Price $36,900, now reduced to $32,000
Grizzly Trophy Fee: Normally $15,000, now reduced to $12,000

ALASKA #140
FALL BLACK BEAR (LAST SPOT FOR 2025), BLACKTAIL DEER
| | |
This is a spot & stalk hunt which takes place by boat in the bays and inlets of southeast Alaska. In this maritime environment with the abundance of fish, bears can grow 19+” skulls in 6-7 years, while in many areas that black bears live they would require twice that to reach those sizes. Opportunity is normally 100% and success very close to that.
You will most likely stay aboard a custom-built 31’ aluminum boat. It has comfortable bunks for two people, as well as a nice galley, an enclosed cabin, private head, and fishing gear. Meals are top notch! Hunting will be mainly from skiffs as you probe the beaches and tidal flats of coves and inlets in the spring, and salmon streams and clear cuts in the fall (quads can be used to access some new logging areas that are thick with berries in the fall). These hunts are not very physically demanding and make a great hunt for parent/child.
This outfitter also offers some blacktail deer hunting in the same area. These hunts are either boat-based or from wall tents. You will hunt old logging roads, or hike in from beaches into timber and muskeg.
| | |
BLACK BEAR: This outfitter normally takes only 4 people at a time, but can accommodate a larger group using sleeping tents on land (or in a cabin, at extra cost). Price is $7,200 per person 2x1 for a 5-day hunt (1x1 also available for $2,500 extra), plus applicable taxes. There is a possibility of adding a deer for extra cost. Non-hunting observers are $3,000 ea. Licenses/tags are guaranteed (no draw!), but the cost is not included. Clients are responsible for their own transportation to/from Ketchikan, but overnight lodging in Ketchikan inbound/outbound is included.
DATES: September 8-12, 2025 (dates are somewhat flexible)
BLACKTAIL DEER: Price is $6,000 per person 2x1 for a 5-day hunt (1x1 also available for $2,000 extra), plus applicable taxes. A 2nd buck can be added for $1,500 extra.
DATES: October 15-23, October 24-November 1, November 1-9

FLORIDA #20
OSCEOLA TURKEYS
| | |
Florida turkey hunts continue to be in high demand, as Osceolas are big birds that are generally very vocal and respond well to calling.
This outfitter’s 2026 hunts were filled up a while ago, but he recently acquired some additional properties to hunt for next spring. They also offer terrific gator and hog hunts.
| | |
These are 2-day guided turkey hunts for $3,700 per person, with lodging included. Meals are not provided, but there is a kitchen, etc.

MANITOBA #306
FLY-IN BIG CANDIAN BULL MOOSE
| | |
If you have dreamed of putting a big bull moose on the wall but Alaska or the Yukon is just not in the budget, you need to take a hard look at northern Manitoba. Simply put, this area produces some big bulls at about 1/3 the price of those other destinations!
This family-owned and operated outfitting business enjoys a high percentage of repeat clients. Their fly-in moose hunts are based out of cabin or tent camps on various remote lakes in northern Manitoba, which makes resident hunting pressure almost non-existent. You will be the only hunters on the lake, and hunting is via small motorized boats, with lots of calling and listening for lovesick bulls at strategic locations.
| | |
This season is full, and they already have just a few spots remaining for 2026 (this hunt is that good!). This 6-day hunt is $14,000 USD per person 2x1 or $17,000 USD per person 1x1. Price includes round trip air transport from Thompson, and also includes moose, bear, wolf and fishing licenses. There are no trophy fees, and you may harvest a black bear or wolf for no extra charge!
DATES: Late September thru early October 2026

SOUTH AFRICA #256
FREE RANGE ARCHERY / MUZZLELOADER OR
BUDGET FRIENDLY PLAINS GAME SAFARI
| | |
Most experienced hunters will tell you that there is no better place in Africa for variety and abundance of plains game species than South Africa, and that there is no better value for your safari dollar. But ALL of South Africa is high-fenced, right? WRONG! We work with a premier outfitter in South Africa that is entirely FREE RANGE, and over 1.2 million acres/1,800 sq. miles of it at that, in different areas of the country. All species hunted (about 35 in total) are indigenous, wild and self-sustaining. In addition to plains game, their concessions have Cape buffalo and elephant as well, along with some upland birds and waterfowl. They even have fishing, and some great sightseeing and eco tours for the whole family.
Of course, they offer rifle hunts for all species, but for the hunter that wants a bit more of a challenge, they also offer muzzleloader or archery hunts. These hunts are a mixture of blind hunting and walk & stalk. As they don’t hunt high-fenced areas, they consider 6 animals in 10 days to be a successful safari. You can expect a success rate of approx. 80% on kudu, and good opportunities on their other species. Like most other South African outfitters, you can choose to either hunt a la carte and pay a day rate ($400 USD/day per person 1x1, or $300 USD/day per person 2x1) plus a trophy fee (they start as low as $250) for each animal harvested, or you can purchase one of their preset packages, which normally include a 10%-25% discount on the trophy fees included in the package.
| | |
Package pricing includes guiding, food, accommodations and trophy fees, but DOES NOT INCLUDE 15% VAT on the daily rates contained within the package. Ask us for a list of these packages, but here is one example:

WYOMING #130
TROPHY BULL ELK (RIFLE OR ARCHERY)
| | |
This is a young outfitter that is doing everything right. We have been working with him for many years, and our Sr. Consultant Brian Stecklein even does some guiding for him, so we know this operation very well.
He offers riverbottom elk hunt in southeast Wyoming that is well worth the approx. 12 preference points it will likely take to draw. Over the last 10 years, their success has been 37 out of 38 on these hunts!
This area offers easy navigating terrain, making it one of the easiest and most successful hunts in the State. This area has a high bull-to-cow ratio, making it an archer’s dream. You will be spending most of your time glassing rolling hillsides and hay meadows looking for your trophy bull.
| | |
Prices for 2026 and 2027 have not been set yet, but the 2025 price was $9,500 per person for a 6-day archery hunt or $10,500 for a 5-day rifle hunt, including meals and lodging, hunt transportation, field care, trophy care, and transportation of your animal to a local meat processor. Again, it currently takes approx. 12 preference points to draw this tag. The application deadline for 2026 is January 31, 2026.
DATES: September for archery and October/November for rifle
