Zion Baptist Church is hosting Report Card Sunday, June 11, immediately after service.

All parents, please bring your child's report card to Zion (up to 8^th grade), regardless of their academic performance. Even if your child has no A's and no B's...bring it and show it to Pastor Beckham to receive a special treat!

Senior Ministry Father's Day Celebration and Luncheon

Calling all ZBC Small Groups Facilitators! You are invited to attend a "Meet and Greet Roundup" on Saturday, June 24, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Our emphasis is "Reimagining the Possibilities" and introducing Rev. Dennis Mitchell as our new Interim, Director of Discipleship and Multiplication. Save the date to learn firsthand information about Small Groups updates, Realm Training, and how facilitators can volunteer for much-needed roles to effectively move forward with ZBC Small Groups in 2024. Registration is required, so please click the link below to register. Juneteenth Celebration at Zion

Juneteenth is now a Federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States in 1865.

As with the celebration of Black History Month in February, we often recognize Blacks for their accomplishments during slavery and post-slavery until the present day.

The purpose of the Juneteenth Celebration at Zion Baptist Church this year is for every Sunday during the month of June to show the extent to which Africans and the African continent are a part of the biblical story!

Christianity has deep roots in African soil. You will be awakened to the extent to which the African presence is in God’s story.

PowerPoint, Q and A time, and discussion will be on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in June, along with presentations on Sundays in June.

Sisters Keepers Outreach Project

We are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for the Sisters Keepers ministry, an outreach project at the Foundation for hospital art, on Wednesday, June 28th, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Girls and parents ages 12 and up are welcome to attend. This event will provide an opportunity to paint pre-drawn, color-coded canvases & ceiling tiles for gifts to hospitals within the United States. 

We will meet at the studio in Woodstock at 9:45 a.m. Our session is from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Volunteers may sign up via Realm. The deadline to sign up is Friday, June 23rd. You can find the registration link below.

Re-Launch of Teen and Young Adult Bible Study
