This year’s Impact Report celebrates what the ZDR3 Network has accomplished over the past six years. “We’ve built something rare: a unified community of professionals who not only respond when disaster strikes but who plan, prepare, and learn together long before the first call for help ever comes,” our Executive Director, Julia Wilder, points out. “Every facility, responder, and partner contributes to a collective strength that grows with each experience shared.”
We’re now at our most exciting phase: “We’ve developed a deep, practical knowledge base—drawn from real-world experience and after-action reports—that we are now strategizing on how best to share through education, training, and structured preparedness initiatives. ZDR3 is uniquely positioned to do this work. With our years of service in the field, we are prepared to integrate lessons learned from numerous zoological emergencies into actionable, evidence-based guidance for the future.”
