We are in the process of conducting interviews and collecting names for several open positions for the Best Elementary School in Belleville (see positions below), but we are excited to share with you the following staff changes for the 2021-2022 school year!

  • Mrs. Allie Davis moving to 6th-8th grade science
  • Mr. JP Schmid joining Mrs. Barradas in teaching 3rd grade

We also are overjoyed to welcome Mrs. Paige Esser to the staff as our music education teacher! Mrs. Esser joins us from Concordia Preparatory School in Towson, Maryland as her husband starts as a student at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis this year.

Current job openings at ZLS include:
  • Preschool teacher (full-time)
  • 5th grade teacher
  • Extended Care workers
  • Substitute teachers

Fun Run Prizes are Here!!
Prizes have arrived in the school office for those students that raised $25 or more in our Fun Run held on April 26th. Students attending Summer Program will receive their prizes on a day they are in attendance. All remaining prizes can be picked up in the school office during our summer office hours(see below). Thank you to all the students that ran and to all of those that donated! We will have our final amount raised out to you soon. Stay tuned!

Summer Program
Dear Zion Families,

Planning for Zion Lutheran School's 2021 Summer Program is underway. We hope you will consider sending your children to join us as we offer a safe, friendly, fun environment where the children learn some new things along the way. Our program runs from Tuesday, June 1 through Friday, August 6 with the exception of Friday, July 2 and Monday, July 5.
