ZOOM AUDITIONS WITH KYLE CRAND

SELF-TAPE AUDITIONS ARE HERE TO STAY. Some people find self-tapes more stressful than in-person auditions, since it requires a certain amount of planning and some technical know-how. Others prefer the lack of pressure and audition jitters, since with self-tapes, you can keep filming until you are happy with the final product.

If an actor makes a strong choice that’s headed in the wrong direction, but they seem to be right for the role, Casting Directors want to work with them to steer them back in the right direction. Because they’ve already made a strong choice, casting can see they are an intelligent actor and have done the work, which indicates that giving them adjustments, notes, and direction is worthwhile. Learn how to make strong choices in an audition!

ZOOM classes with CSA Casting Director Kyle Crand are coming up in 2 weeks! Take the class from anywhere you can access ZOOM! Class members get a link to the videos from each class every week to watch and download.
