In October, we had many educational programs that included a book group on Monday mornings with Kitty and Bobbi Perez, art classes with Finnie on Mondays, science lessons with Linda G, pottery classes at ArtisTree with Fiona, art teachings with Karen Fellows, music classes with Bob Horan, singing lessons with Kerry, dancing classes with Alison J., woodworking lessons with Doug, crafts classes with Sarah, cooking classes with Sarah and Doug, pumpkin decorating with Kitty, music lessons with Cooie, music movement with Kathleen and Mark, and games with Doug and Sarah.
We also engaged in different physical activities such as playing pickleball with Sarah, cycling the Rail Trail with Vermont Adaptive, practicing yoga twice a week with Annie, Jamie, Amanda U. and Miss Amanda. We also went bowling on Thursdays at Maple Lanes, and swimming on Fridays at Upper Valley Aquatic Center. We went on walks around town and beyond to enjoy the fall foliage.
Our field trips included visiting the Montshire Museum, exploring the trails at Nature Way at Sunset Hill in Sutton, NH, visiting the Hood Museum, and playing mini-golf at Fore U Golf in Lebanon. We also had the opportunity to see the musical "Little Shop of Horrors" at ArtisTree, visit Karen Fellows studio in Hartland, and the Frates Family Farm where we groomed horses and hiked the trails.
A highlight of the month was the Woodstock Elementary School Halloween Parade downtown.
