Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Acts 3:19
Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit - the Apostle Peter took every opportunity he had to preach to the people that they should repent. For when the Holy Spirit came, as Jesus promised between in John chapters 14 to 16 - like Jesus promised, He will remind them (and even us today after we are filled with the Holy Spirit as well) of everything that Jesus told them, and will even reveal new things to them..
And in Acts 3 the Apostle Peter added "that your sins may be blotted out" - which I'm sure at that moment he didn't even fully understood the depth of what he was preaching. But as we study the Word, we find it is the exact same idea that the Apostle Paul shared in his letter to the Colossians - when he started sharing on his revelations of the Cross. He said in Colossians 2:
Col 2:13-14
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to (or against) us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;
This idea of "Blotting out" literally means: When for example a letter was written in ink, and blood drops fall on that letter like tear drops - and eventually the ink and the blood will mix, and you won't be able to read what was written in that letter anymore.
And that is exactly what happens, when we choose to truly "Repent of our sins"! It literally becomes symbolic as if you come before the Cross at that very moment, coming before the Lord with your "list of wrongs" that you did and want to ask our Lord Jesus for forgiveness - placing your list at the feet of the cross...
And then the Blood of Jesus starts dripping over that letter, even mixed with your tears of sorrow - while asking for His forgiveness. (Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.)
And then somewhere between that moment of our Repentance and His Forgiveness, you are being washed and cleansed of all guilt and shame. And when you rise up from your knees afterwards, you'll feel cleansed and washed - feeling like a weight lifted off your shoulders, and like that something that had weighed you down for so long, has left you.
And this is confirmed also by the following scriptures:
Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Thus, if you haven't taken the time to truly repent yet, and you always feel like there is weight of guilt and shame on your shoulders from things from the past... I would like to advise you today, find some time in your prayer closet, and come before the Lord, and lay it all down before Him. Tell Him about your hurt, your pain, your guilt, and shame, and anything that is still holding you back. Lay it all out before Him, and truly ask for His forgiveness. You will be amazed at how you will be set free, healed and even delivered from a number of things that you have been struggling with for so long. Even those nagging aches and pains in your body will start to vanish, and you will truly become a new person in Christ !
And as you know by now, the Zambia Kneels team under the leading of Apostle Memory, has been going out week after week on street evangelism - reaching more and more people in the streets of Lusaka for the Lord Jesus, through sharing these exact same ideas of Repentance with People - encouraging them to come before the Lord, and ask for His Forgiveness... And also telling them that Jesus has a plan and a purpose for them - according to John 15:16.
And we have received feedback from Apostle Memory that every time they went out anything between 100 to 200 people have given their lives to Jesus - we in fact have lost count already of how many people they have reached up till now. They are truly touching souls and hearts for the Lord, telling them how much Jesus really loves them, and that He has a plan and a calling for their lives. And that is exactly what people need to hear. This very message is what is causing people to change their ways, and to start living the right way - God's way - and to stop with their sinful behaviors, and start doing the right things. And we've received numerous testimonies already, of youths going back to school - stop abusing alcohol, and even selling themselves for all kinds of sexual sins...
People start having hope again. And their church which they are having in their backyard is growing - increasing week by week.
And now they have decided - for this last 2 weeks of November they will be going out every day - for 14 days of evangelism - into the streets of Lusaka, and try and reach as many as they can before the Christmas season starts - and before they will take a break, and rest over the Christmas season.
Here follows some of the wonderful feedback we've already received from Apostle Memory - and they only just started with their 14-day campaign...
Blessed evening to u
Yesterday and today , our youths went for evangelism, yesterday they had 135 souls gave there lives to Jesus Christ and today they had they had 187 so for two days they have won 322
We thank God for your prayers and support, tomorrow ,they are going back again as I told you they have 14 days of evangelism after they will rest until next year so keep on praying for them for God's provision,
Blessed evening to you, and how is everyone, our youths have started the second week of evangelism, today they had 199 souls gave there lives to Jesus Christ, pray for provision for food only, and pray for more souls to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
We pray, today I had challenge with what to eat, our program starts around 09:00 until 16:00 hrs. But we pray we only have few days to go !
In just 3 days - they have already lead 521 souls to our Lord through Prayers of Repentance...
Just imagine how many they can reach if they don't have to worry about food or transport costs!! As, they are often going on a hungry tummy, walking far distances, driven by the Love of the Lord, just to find one more person to share this message of Repentance with them.
SO: If you can assist our sister Apostle Memory and her Zambia Kneels Repentance team with a donation of any size to support them in this time of 14 days of evangelism, we will pass it on to them immediately.
You are welcome to mark your donation specifically for this time of evangelism above.
And please keep them in your prayers - Knowing that much Fruit will definitely abound to your eternal account before the Lord, as you share with them in this event !
