UDS Allstar Training Club
2021 Summer - UDS All-Star Training Club is excited to offer golf, bowling, and coach pitch/kickball once again this summer! Everyone is invited to join!
 
In compliance with the recent health orders, it is recommended that fully vaccinated individuals wear face coverings, though not required. For those not vaccinated, face coverings are required at all times, indoor and outdoor.

Custom Living Environment Tours
The Custom Living Environment (CLE) at William Patrick Day Services Center is open again and tours are available!

The CLE showcases many assistive technology tools that can be used in a person's home to increase independence. Examples featured in the CLE include a robotic feeding device, adapted cookware, sensory area, standing wheelchair, remote monitoring and more.
Accessing the Jon Peterson and Ohio Autism Scholarship

Are you considering a specialized autism school for your child? Hear Angela Cheadler from the Ohio Department of Education talk about the Jon Peterson and Ohio Autism Scholarship Funding. Learn who is eligible, services covered, how to apply, the role of the parent versus the school district, and get your questions answered.
Akron Zoo Zoothing Hour
July 10 and Aug. 8 (2 dates)
9 - 10 a.m.
 Your Akron Zoo is opening an hour early for guests with different abilities who do not like loud noises and/or crowds. During Zoothing Hour, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the zoo before it opens to the public at 10 a.m. 
 
Tickets must be purchased online. No tickets will be available at the door. To avoid overcrowding, tickets are available via time ticketing. The time selected for your tickets is the time you must enter the park. Even Akron Zoo members must have tickets to enter the park. Member tickets are available online.
