The Future of Insights: Trends, Challenges, and Priorities in the Insurance and Financial Services Markets

Zeldis is excited to share the results of recent qualitative thought leadership research we conducted about trends (including AI!), hot topics, and challenges facing the insights industry across our areas of focus: financial servicesP&C insurance, health insurance, and group benefits.

We will share what we learned from a series of in-depth interviews with insights professionals in these industries, including:

  • How the insights function is structured and how research is prioritized in the organization

  • Trends in methodologies, approaches, and topics

  • Challenges in successful insights execution and strategies to overcome those challenges

  • How AI is impacting the research function

Upcoming Thought Leadership on Technology

Zeldis will be conducting three different qualitative TL research efforts in 2025, all related to the use of technology by B2B audiences in the industries where we focus. Watch for the following releases this year:

  • Research with financial advisors to explore how they tap technology and build out their tech stack for optimized efficiency and client planning and experience

  • Research with P&C agents and brokers about data integration, multi-carrier quoting platforms for commercial lines, and digital tools for client and agent/broker service

  • Research with HR and benefits professionals about the importance of data feeds/integrations (API and EDI) and employer and employee portals and apps in administering employee benefits

Research in Action

We are excited to share thought leadership that we executed with Nationwide which explored the role of annuities in the advisor/client relationship and found that annuities present an opportunity for deeper client connections.

Zeldis Buzz: Case Studies

We are excited to introduce a new feature to our newsletter this year: Zeldis Buzz Case Studies.

Each quarter we will feature a case study of recent work we have done for a client. These will be blinded, of course, but we hope you might find it valuable to see some examples of what others are doing.

This quarter, we are sharing a case study for Fallen Angels and Silver Linings research conducted in the financial services sector.
