Wow! The new issue of Robert Parker's
wine advocate is out and Zenith Vineyard came up with
some amazing scores. The advocate loved the 2008 vintage and we
received 91 points for our Estate Pinot noir; 91+ for the Barrel
Select Pinot noir; and 90 points for the 2008 Estate Tempranillo!
But we were thrilled too that our partner wineries scored big with
Zenith Vineyard fruit. Adelsheim Vineyard Zenith
Vineyard Pinot scored 91; Biggio-Hamina made two Zenith
Pinot noirs - the Biggio-Hamina ZV Pinot was 90 points and the 2008
Biggio-Hamina Cuvee Lucca scored 92 points! Broadley Vineyards scored 91
points on their 2008 Zenith Vineyard Pinot noir; St. Innocent, our partner and
winemaker Mark Vlossak scored a 91 with his Zenith Vineyard Pinot
and also just earlier this week received a 93 point rating from the
Wine Spectator on the same wine! That puts Zenith in the 90-92
point range with eight wines in today's review. We are very proud
to offer you these wines and extremely grateful to Mark Vlossak,
Dave Paige, Todd Hamina and Morgan Broadley (and all our
winemakers) for crafting such beautiful wines from Zenith
Vineyard.

THE
ZENITH VINEYARD WINE CLUB - IN CASE YOU MISSED IT |
|
So
what's the plan....
We
will do two shipments a year, one in the spring and one in the
fall. Each shipment will be two bottles and will be sold at retail
price less 10%. Shipping will be charged at a flat $10
per package.
We're close to putting together the fall shipment which will be our
2009 Zenith Chardonnay (as soon as we get the labels on the bottle)
and the 2008 Zenith Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir.
But
there's more...
Wine
club members will receive 20% off our case prices - greater than
the 15% we normally offer.
And
even more...
We
will have a harvest party this fall exclusively for our wine club
members where you can come and pick up your shipment if you like,
enjoy some great food, and taste the wines!
