From The Editors October 5th, 2021

In this edition of British Columbia Golf's newsletter you can see the latest version of Brad Ziemer's BC Golf notes including his interview with Mackenzie Tour - PGA Tour Canada season-long points winner, Callum Davison, from Duncan, BC. As part of his reward Davison gains entry into the 2022 RBC Canadian Open, which will also represent his first appearance on the PGA TOUR.

We also have Brad's great story on the outstanding First Nations golf facilities in British Columbia. Be sure to check that out along with the the story by First Nations writer Latash Maurice Nahanee as he looks at the role First Tee - British Columbia is playing, enabling affordable access to the game for youth in underrepresented communities in the province.

In addition, we would like to bring your attention to the upcoming Fall Best Ball event put on by The LPGA Amateurs Vancouver Island Chapter, who are excited to announce a two-player women's best ball event taking place at Duncan Meadows GC on Friday, October 22nd.

Lastly, we are saddened to pass along the news of the loss of a wonderful man who contributed greatly to golf in many capacities as we say goodbye to longtime BC Golf volunteer, Ray Vannatter.

Enjoy your golf and please stay safe.
