News

SUCH GREAT NEWS!

Enrollment is looking strong for PS-G8 next year.  We started this year at 145 students and we are looking toward 165-170 for next school year already!  Yes, Transitional Kindergarten classes in public schools seem to draw people...they are free, after all.  However, we know that word is out about the quality of our students' experience, the updates and changes made going into next school year, and also that we have financial assistance available for families who qualify.  THANK YOU, Lions, for your personal "marketing" efforts!

Additionally, I ask you to please pray with me regarding the potential of some significant funding for School Ministry.  We had to change the direction of the grant proposal we had started working on, (which is why those of you who said you'd help have not been contacted yet.)  We aim to request a mobile computer lab for our school.  Pray lots and we will know sometime at the end of July or beginning of August.

Thank you, families, for you kindness shown to all of us this week for Teacher Appreciation Week.  The Western Theme and fun, quirky decor has really energized your teachers.  The end of the year is coming so things get busy for teachers.  Your effort has really paid off!

Can't wait to see how Cool in the Furnace develops!  We have such a wonderful cast with incredibly dedicated student leadership in dance and the "stage management" portions of the production.  I'm THRILLED to see our K-8 faculty and students working so hard and so well together.  Please "invite the masses" to this performance!  Thanks a bunch!

Looking Forward Together,
Krista Nagy, Principal
