When did you get started in music? What inspires you?

My musical experiences began in church and as I got to love it more I embarked on the Karaoke Scene -where patrons encouraged me continually to utilize my voice. In 2016 I entered DIGICEL Rising Stars and was unsuccessful then I reentered in 2017 and made it as a wildcard immediately after I entered a competition and won and started working professionally with my now label Zone 1 Entertainment INC with three releases thus far.

Tell us a bit about your new track, "Put It On Pon Me."

Put It On Pon Me is inspired by my imagination as I heard the riddim I start feeling a sultry and seductive vibe. So I decided to write this song in a way based on how the riddim moved me, mainly it's the same for all of my other music. I imagine how I would want to put it into words and that's how my creativity works for me. For me, it's all about love in the music.

What can we expect in the future from ChanKitty?

Persons can expect more growth, and more music as I continue to add the difference to the industry with a little seasoning added.

Is there anything else you would like to tell the people?

For me, music is like a soul, overwhelming, heart-calming, and healing. Music should be cherished and artists must try to piece positive and well-put-together music together for release. Follow your dreams and once you set out on the right path put God first, nothing can beat that, for with God everything is possible. Believe in him and he shall set the way for you.

What inspired the transition from comedy to music?

Really and truly, I wouldn’t say it’s a full transition. It’s the fact of being in a musical atmosphere where producers and studios are at my availability, and with the writing skills I have, I use it to create music but I would just call myself a talented entertainer.

Tell us a bit about your new track, "Ye Ye Ye Ye."

So (YE YE YE YE) is a more of a vibe song, as to where modern day dancehall music is, with certain topic and the kind of beat. So YE YE YE YE was a song made to just have a happy hype vibe amongst peers.

What can we expect in the future from Valdomore?

The aim is always greatness and to reach my full potential, but who knows? Anything is possible, and hoping one day to reach the big screens and mainstream industry.

Valdomore is a person who always want to see people happy and having fun, regardless of the phase in life. So just be yourself, do what you love and what works for you .
