Overview: The Zones of Regulation program training provides strategies to teach students to become more aware of and independent in controlling their emotions and impulses, managing their sensory needs, and improving their ability to problem solve.
Format: This training will be in-person via webinar with the presenter. The opportunity for discussion and questions from the registered participants will also be supported. Participants can bring their own personal tech devices to use in addition to viewing the webinar on the conference room screens.
Presenter: Elizabeth Sautter, M.A. CCC, is a licensed speech and language pathologist and co-director/co-owner of Communication Works, a private practice offering speech, language, and social support. Elizabeth has worked with Leah Kuypers, the writer and creator of Zones of Regulation, in the clinic setting, supporting clients and running group therapy, and creating Zones materials and resources. Elizabeth conducts trainings for parents/caregivers and professionals and is a Zones Collaborative Trainer.
