In this session you will learn about parts of the code called Bulk Regulations that determine:


  • How high a building can be
  • How far it is set back from the street
  • How much the surface of the lot can be covered with building and paving


These development standards affect the way your neighborhood and surrounding commercial businesses look and function.

How it Affects You

Tuesday, October 18th 6:00-7:30pm via Zoom

In this session you will learn about development intensity and:


  • How it affects neighborhood interactions
  • How it effects walkability of a neighborhood
  • The types of buildings, businesses and services around you
  • How the need for development intensity may change throughout your life


This session will also cover how density affects health, transportation, and city service cost; as well as the need for a mix of densities to cover diverse needs in a city.
