Neighbors, You Are Invited to Attend!!

Come learn about the City’s current zoning code, how zoning decisions are made and how you can make the zoning code better.

The Planning Department is managing a multi-phase project to update the City’s development-related codes, including the Zoning and Planning Code, Sign Code, and Subdivision Regulations.

The City's current comprehensive plan recommends updating the code to make land development more efficient and flexible and meet the character of the different areas of our city from urban to rural.

YOUR input is vital in making this multi-year process to update development codes a success.

During this workshop, you will learn:

The history and overview of current zoning code
Important key code terms
Why the City is considering changing the code
How you can be involved
How to advocate at the City for zoning changes in your neighborhood.
