Impression 5 Science Center has an opening for a guest experience team member. The person in this position delivers opportunities on the main exploration area, conducts hands-on workshops, facilitates experience in the First Impression Room and assists guests at admission and in the science store. Arts Council Greater Lansing announces a call to teachers for their "Support Young Creatives Billboard Project." Teachers are invited to submit one piece of work by a student artist attending school in the Greater Lansing Region for the chance of having their art displayed on a digital billboard, during Youth Art Month in March 2021. Downtown Lansing Inc. invites artists to participate in an alley transformation project, to create a more vibrant and inviting community space in the heart of the downtown district. This project seeks to create a stronger sense of place through mural art and to lift up local artists while linking Lansing’s history to its future! Learn more.
Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center announces a call to youth artists for their "Ingham Student Art Exhibit." Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, Ingham Intermediate School District and the Michigan Education Leadership Group host this celebration of excellence in the visual arts for young people in grades K-12+. LowellArts West Michigan is seeking applications for their 35th Annual LowellArts West Michigan Art Competition, which highlights outstanding artwork by Lower West Michigan artists who reside in a 25-county region. Five cash awards totaling $2500 are awarded. Artists may submit one piece for consideration by the juror. Application deadline is Jan. 15, 2021. Learn more.

IU Kokomo Downtown Gallery announces "Anxiety in a Time of Pandemic." Anxiety is a major aspect within society, only more prevalent since the beginning of COVID-19 and other current global events. There needs to be more societal awareness brought to the struggles that humans face with anxiety. Artists are capable of bridging the gap of visually portraying the sometimes-overwhelming intangible feelings anxiety possesses. This exhibit aims to feature works of art expressing the impact artists have felt through this unprecedented time. Application deadline is Jan. 23, 2021. Learn more.
The ArtisTTable is seeking entries for its 39th ArtisTTable Online Exhibition
"Art in the Time of Corona." Submit your work that has been created during the pandemic. This is an open-themed show; the only criteria is that all work must have been created in 2020. Artists can submit up to five pieces for the $25 entry/processing fee. Exhibition opens Jan. 31, 2021 with a virtual Zoom reception. Show dates are Jan. 31 to March 31, 2021. Manifest gallery, Cincinnati invites visual artists to submit works that are either representations of, feature prominently or are made primarily of metal. Submissions can range from the most traditional to the most conceptual, abstract, or experimental of any media. Manifest is interested in how artists elevate, observe, depict and characterize metal in the art of today. Application deadline is Feb. 12, 2021. Learn more.
The Allied Arts Council and the City of Saint Joseph, Missouri, seek sculptures for a temporary exhibition in Downtown Saint Joseph, June 11, 2021 - May 15, 2022. Selected sculptures/sculptors will receive a $750 honorarium and all sculptures selected will compete for up to $13,000 in cash prize awards. The Council invites regional, national and international sculpture artists to submit work for this one-year sculpture exhibition. Application deadline is Feb. 8, 2021. Learn more.

Creative Capital presents its Grantwriting for Artists Four-Part Workshop, Jan. 26, 2021, 7:00-8:30 p.m. EST. This workshop, led by filmmaker Tracie Holder, is open to artists working across all disciplines who have a project in development and are ready to start the grant application process.
