Building off the success of the Rent Reporting for Credit Pilot Program, CHFA is sponsoring rent reporting services for multifamily property owners of CHFA-supported properties to help low- and moderate-income Colorado tenants improve their credit scores and advance opportunities for strong financial futures. CHFA is partnering with leading financial technology company, Esusu, Inc., to provide the rent reporting service to up to 20,000 tenants by reporting positive rent payments to the major credit bureaus.

CHFA is glad that 50 properties, representing nearly 3,000 units, have already indicated interest in the Program. CHFA will be reaching out to connect you with Esusu to enroll you in the Program soon.

“We are excited to partner with CHFA and Esusu to offer rent reporting to our tenants. It is a win for our tenants, offering them a way to help them build and improve their credit, and a win as a property manager, offering us a tool to help attract and retain tenants,” said Paul D’Angelo, Thistle Community Housing CEO.

Next Step

To indicate your interest in participating in the Rent Reporting Program, please complete this interest form. Properties will be enrolled on a rolling first come first served basis.

Once a property is enrolled in the Program, tenants will have the option to opt-in to Esusu’s rent reporting service. The cost will be sponsored by CHFA for three years, making participation in the program free to property owners and tenants.
