2025 middle-income housing tax credit (mihtc) awards

CHFA has completed its inaugural award round of Middle-income Housing Tax Credits (MIHTC). Five applications were received seeking a total of $8,113,343 in MIHTC. CHFA is awarding $4,832,748 in MIHTC to three developments.

Combined, these awards will support the new construction of 220 affordable middle-income rental housing units. The total private sector equity estimated to be raised by MIHTC awarded in 2025 exceeds $16.4 million.
