nextgen system update

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, CHFA will be updating the NextGen system to accept tenant certifications with the required HOTMA rules and functionality, effective July 1, 2025. With this update, NextGen will only accept XML Tenant Upload files in versions 7.0 or 8.0 of the NAHMA industry standard. The older versions 5.0 and 6.0 that are accepted in the current version of NextGen will no longer be accepted after the update. If you use the XML Tenant Upload feature in NextGen, please confirm with your property software’s technical support that your software will allow for the newer versions.

Through June 29, 2025, property owners and management agents will have the option of submitting tenant certifications with Pre-HOTMA or HOTMA rules.
