Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Online Workshop│ July 14 and 15, 2021 (HPI) Join Amritpal Byrd for a deep dive into constructive communication skill-building. We will go beyond learning basic terms to cultivate understanding around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
This course will wrap around all things DEI as it relates to policy, process, and people in affordable housing. In these highly polarized times, there is a direct impact to property site operations, neighbor relations, how tenants are affected and react, and staff members' interpersonal relations upstream and downstream. We will unpack what you need to understand about housing and race. Ultimately, you will walk away from this course feeling empowered and competent to have tough solution-based conversations around all of the protected classes.
