Patty Crane
something flown
Saturday, March 30
5-7 pm

Patty Crane will be with us this Saturday evening to read from her book something flown - recognized with  the Concrete Wolf Poetry Chapbook Award.

Crane's award-winning poetry has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Her translations of Swedish poet and Nobel laureate Tomas Tranströmer have appeared in American Poetry Review and The New York Times, among other publications, and are collected in her bi-lingual volume Bright Scythe.

A conversation with Thomas Chulak from the bookstore, Q&A and refreshments will follow the reading. Join us!

Well, in truth, only one and somewhat bittersweet at that -
 The Chatham Bookstore, founded 1977.

How lucky we are to have come together more than seven years ago to carry the store forward and be an integral part of the community. Now it seems it is the right time to pass it along.
And so, we will begin searching for new owners who are committed to keeping the store a vibrant part of Main Street. As we search, we will continue to serve you with joy and commitment.
Should you be interested or know someone who may be, please contact us at nicolefurnee@gmail.com or phone 518-392-0114.
