COMING UP

Every year on the Sunday closest to October 4th, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi*, many people of faith around the world participate in events where animals are blessed.

We will celebrate a blessing of pets on Sunday, October 2nd, in the in-person and online worship services.

Please send the name and a photo of your pet by Thursday, September 29th, to [email protected] to be included in the online service.

*St. Francis of Assisi lived a life of simplicity, charity and humility in the 13thcentury. He is remembered as a champion of justice and lover of animals.

Submit pet photo

In October, our whole Central Union ‘ohana will engage in a stewardship journey. You are invited to join us in moving through our devotional, The Big Secret of Giving: Hidden Treasures in Life and Church, a collection of daily meditations.

Paper copies of the devotional will be made available at the in-person worship services in October and can also be picked up in the church office after October 2.

To receive a digital copy of our stewardship devotional and to reduce paper waste, please sign up by clicking the green button below!
