Saints Peter & Paul School

We are now accepting nominations for Hall of Honors candidates. Induction into this society is the highest recognition our school can bestow on a member of our school family and will take place at our 31st annual dinner dance, ALLIANCE FOR TOMORROW, scheduled for Friday, May 3, at the Cress Creek Country Club.

Nominations may be made in any of the following categories:

Alumni  -graduates must be at least forty years of age.  We
are seeking alumni whose career accomplishments
or volunteerism in their community or parish  reflect well on their alma mater.

Clergy and/or Faculty  - any former priests, faculty, or support  staff who made an everlasting  impact to our school or the students   and parents we serve is eligible for   this award.  Only candidates who are no longer active in either  ministry at our parish or parish  school are eligible. *

School families - our school's successful reputation is built    in large part on the generous spirit of    volunteerism exhibited by school families   who serve on one of our four Leadership    Boards (School Board, Advancement Board,   Athletic Association, and Home & School).   We also have families each year devote   extraordinary amounts of time in chairing    fundraising events, coaching, and helping  out as needed throughout the school.

Families whose children are still enrolled   in our school are not eligible. *

*An exception can be made for a candidate who is in their final year at the school or has health concerns.

Last year's recipient was Linda Giffith,  a school parent, who had served our school in many capacities during thee years her children Megan '08, Kyle '10, and Noel '14 were students.  Her volunteerism included co-chairing the school Auction, chairing the Fine Arts Festival for four years, serving as Home and School treasurer for four years, and leadership with the Secret Santa Shopping and Breakfast, Blessings, the School Play, Fish Fry, and Founder's Day.

SSPP Trivia

When our school was founded in 1853....
.....people who were engaged in criminal activity did not have to worry about the scrutiny of a lie detector test for it wasn't until 1902 when Joseph McKenzie invented the polygraph.
