Confront Your Negative Inner Voice. In a voice full of alarm and panic, Bertha would yell, "You better NOT do that -- you'll look stupid!" When I heard her, I would immediately back off and lose my opportunity to make a friend. The fact that Bertha was only a voice inside my own head didn't make her any less scary... READ MORE
I'm talking about the amazing UUs of the congregation I know best: Community UU at White Plains. You rock! Seeing your faces on Sunday morning is unfailingly the highlight of my week. Cooperative Coffee Hour

Cooperative Coffee Hour 10:00am Sun Dec 24 & Sun Dec 31
Please bring along a treat for our coffee hour table at this week's 10:00am service, and the week following as well. Then help us set up, serve, and clean up together. Many hands make light work!
From Building & Grounds

Please remember to use blue "painter" tape or similar less sticky adhesive for posting flyers, to protect our windows, doors, and walls, and simplify cleanup. A roll is in the plastic bin on the office door, to use and return when you're done. Thanks!
Share the Plate for December: Coachman Family Center

Half our non-pledge collection this month goes to the Coachman Family Center in downtown White Plains. CUUC has long supported the shelter, which provides housing, healthcare, and services to local families in need. The Coachman also offers support and activities for children, including after-school homework help, arts and crafts, music, and recreation.
Now is the Time to Donate

If you plan to give to charity you should donate before 2018 in order to qualify for current tax laws, says the NY Times. Learn more HERE.
