"Being There" has been a theme in the lives and work of many great composers... Allusions from the world of cinema figure in this Sunday's Musical Interlude and Meditation, in the form of Johnny Mandel's arrangements of Erik Satie's Gnossiennes, used in the soundtrack to Being There... The CUUC Choir offers music and words for contemplation by Carolyn McDade, best known to UUs for the hymn "Spirit of Life." Read more HERE.

"Presence in the Midst of Crisis"
~ Rev. Meredith Garmon
Our presence is a fundamental offering. A person aligned with their purpose, who has integrity and wholeness, creates a presence that ripples out through the world. It reassures and empowers others. It changes the world.
Sun Jun 7, 10:00am Online Worship
~ Rev. Meredith Garmon
Our theme for June is Vision. As we explore the import of this concept for our spirituality, we may remember that the book of Proverbs says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." You might, however, have forgotten the clause that immediately follows: "but happy are those that keep the law." What sort of "law" pertains to vision?

Write a Note of Congratulations
One of the gifts we will give our Bridgers (graduating seniors) this year is a UU hymnal with beloved music and words of our faith. If we were meeting in the building, we would make hymnals available in the Sundays leading up to our Bridging ceremony so you could write in them. This year, given our circumstances, we invite you to submit notes online, which we will put in the youth's hymnal.  We have 4 youth Bridging: Evan Cacchione, Niall Ryan, Oliver Schwartz, Aiden Breneman-Pennas. Click HERE to submit notes of congratulation and encouragement.

Share the Plate for May: Refugee Pandemic Support
The pandemic has impacted the lives of our refugee population in Westchester in many ways: delaying a job search or a move, reducing work hours, and interrupting education and activities for children who were beginning to acclimate to their new home. We will donate half our non-pledge collection to organizations that address refugees' needs during the coming months. Donate online and select Share the Plate, or make checks to CUUC with memo "Share the Plate - Refugees."
Online Offering
You can pay your pledge, donate to the Share the Plate, or contribute to our Benevolent Fund or Minister's Discretionary Fund via PayPal by clicking "Donate" at our website Or click the button below.
