Our Faith Family
With a sad heart we share that Emma Lou Sailors Louis passed away on Thu Jan 28. She was 97. Emma was a member of CUUC from 1968 until the early 2000s, when driving from her home in Dobbs Ferry became difficult. Our hearts go out to her children and family.

We will be voting on two matters: (1) Adoption of the 8th Principle resolution, and (2) Approval of the Ordination of CUUC member Petra Thombs as a Unitarian Universalist minister. We share half our non-pledge collection this month with the Westchester Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute for Nonviolence, which has promoted nonviolent activism for social justice since 1987. Their mission is to advance racial equity for all our communities by: educating and empowering youth and adults; supporting inclusiveness, courage, and peace; and collaborating to advocate for justice, equity, and shared power for all.
