Online Stations of the Cross
|
We are designing a Stations of the Cross for online use leading up to Easter. Many of our churches have beautiful and unique Stations.
Please send photos of two or three of your favorite Stations at your church. It's simple to do while no one else is around, using your phone, and send them to
lareat@diosohio.org. We will edit them and add voice over, then add them to our diocesan resource page. We need the photos by
March 31.
|
The bishop has invited all clergy as well as wardens in charge of congregations to participate in the Easter service that will be streamed by the cathedral. Congregations can participate by filming a brief (30 seconds or less) Easter message or statement from your congregation that will be shown and heard as part of the Easter service.
You can create the video with whatever equipment you have - a cell phone camera will work as well as any other video recorder. If you've never done anything like this before, our communications department is happy to help you.
for some basic guidelines on creating your video, and when it is finished, email the video to
communication@diosohio.org
.
It will be hard to celebrate Easter while physically seperate from one another, but the videos are an opportunity here to claim an even deeper connection to one another.

Being the church while physically distancing
|
We may be physically distancing, but still connecting with our neighbors to fill their basic needs. Check out some pics from last evening's feeding ministry at St. John's, Columbus on our
Facebook page
.
Note everyone following their 6 feet distancing!
