42T has developed a test rig to explore and demonstrate the potential of radio frequency (RF) dielectric drying technology to assist manufacturers transition to water-based (aqueous) inks. RF drying technology can overcome conventional hot air and infrared drying methods high energy intensity and unsuitability for heat-sensitive materials like plastic films.. Results confirm that RF drying is technically feasible , faster, energy-efficient, and gentler on materials than traditional drying methods. .

The new S3200-U1-2 and S3200-U3-2 (compared to the S3200-U1 and S3200-U3) have an improved structural design that expands their compatibility with UV inks, improves their reliability/durability, and ensures stable print quality for prolonged use. For the past 25 years, I’ve worked across visual communication, commercial printing, and metal packaging industries. Within the inkjet world specifically, I’ve operated equipment, managed color profiling, automated prepress workflows (including for offset systems), overseen production, and collaborated in the development of coatings for improved adhesion and print performance. This broad exposure allowed me to understand the entire inkjet ecosystem—not just as a set of components, but as an integrated production reality.
My conclusion is simple: what inkjet single-pass innovation needs is not another machine—it needs a new production standard.

Xerox Unveils Post-Lexmark Acquisition Leadership Team
With Xerox Holding Corp's pending (expected to close in 3rd quarter of 2025) acquisition of Lexmark International, Inc., Xerox announced that two Lexmark executives will join its Executive Committee at the close of the acquisition. The incoming Executive Committee members are:Billy Spears, Chief Product Development & Delivery Officer and Chuck Butler, Chief Business Services Officer.
