Debt-ridden Landa Printing acquired by FIMI in $80 million arrangement


The Israel Central District Court approved a debt restructuring plan for Benny Landa’s digital printing company, Landa Corporation. The approved arrangement enables private equity firm FIMI to acquire the company and invest $80 million into its operations. FIMI will own 100% of Landa Corporation and will continue to employ most of its workforce.

Konica Minolta Launches the KM1800iSHK-DC, a New Inkjet Printhead Capable of Jetting Two Colors of Ink


The KM1800iSHK-DC can jet two colors of ink from a single printhead thanks to the new structural design. In addition, its thin profile (thickness of 24 mm) makes it possible to reduce the number of printheads in a print head carriage. Its long throw distance enables printing on objects 10 mm from the jetting nozzles making it suitable for printing on 3-dimensional objects plus reducing printhead failure & operational downtime. Also, its mounting structure facilitates alignment, thus reducing alignment time.

Using an Epson UV Piezo DOD printhead, the 340 mm print width Gallus Alpha offers 1200 x 1200 dpi at 65 m/min with a pure roll to roll digital configuration. Using a Fujifilm Dimatix UV Piezo DOD printhead, the 340 and 430 mm width Gallus Five offers 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution at 100 m/min. Durst Group unveils the new Tau G3 Platform


The new Tau G3 platform delivers 1200 x 1200 dpi native resolution with Tau G3 Core reaching 61 m/min while the Tau G3 Peak achieves 80 m/min and can be expanded to 100 m/min. Print widths range from 244 mm to 510 mm. The Tau G3 supports CMYK plus extended gamut options (Orange, Violet, Green, and White) and is available with both UV and LED curing on substrates (paper, films, and aluminum foils) of 20 to 500 µm thickness  The Tau G3 platform has been in beta testing since August with the official market launch planned for Q2 2026.
