Mimaki announces release of Aqueous Pigment Ink "AP50" Equipped on the Tiger600-1800TS
The newly developed "AP50" ink is designed to maximize the performance of the high-speed, high-quality Tiger600-1800TS sublimation transfer printer. It delivers vivid color reproduction featuring excellent drying properties for sharp, smudge-resistant images at 220sqm/h (2,368sqft/h). With its high saturation in the red spectrum, it is particularly suited for applications requiring high visibility & impact , "AP50," primarily composed of water, is scheduled for GREENGUARD Gold certification. Sales are expected to commencie in February 2026.

Sustainable Green Print (SGP) publishes Certification Comparison Chart
SPG Certification is one of many certification programs available to print, supplier, and packaging companies. Although these other organizations can be a value-add to their members, SGP is the only print-production specific program focused on all aspects within the graphic communication’s manufacturing environment. SPG's chart offers a high-level description of other other sustainability endorsements. Companies may become certified in more than one specialty to meet or exceed their client’s requirements while reinforcing their company culture.

Durst officially launches the P5 SMP new Super Multi-Pass solution
The P5 SMP is a hybrid LED multi-pass inkjet system (up to 10 color channels) with a printing width of 3.5 meters, designed for both board and roll printing. Based on the proven P5 platform, it provides a powerful alternative to single-pass systems. For field testing, Durst partnered with ARIAN GmbH and tested over 200 materials in various formats on the P5 SMP. The system targets the Sign & Display, POP/POS, corrugated packaging and display, as well as industrial décor printing markets. The P5 SMP handles both roll and board materials up to 70 mm thick.

Fiery Signs Deal to Acquire Inèdit Software
Fiery has announced an agreement with EFI Reggiani to acquire all interests in Spanish specialty print technology company Inèdit Software. Fiery will expand its product portfolio to offer a complete range of software solutions for the digital textile and specialty printing markets. Inèdit’s well respected software products like neoStampa and neoTextil will complement Fiery’s Digital Factory family of solutions to serve a broad range of print applications such as fashion and apparel, home decor, soft signage, and direct-to-film (DTF) printing.

SpencerMetrics Appoints Vishal Sahay as President and Changes Name
SpencerMetrics Inc. (previously Spencer and Associates Publishing, Ltd.) has appointed Vishay Sahay as its new President. In addition, Yutak Kwok will serve as Vice President – Technology, and Catherine Fiasconaro as Vice President – Operations. Founder David Spencer now assumes the role of CEO/Chairman, transferring all day-to-day operational authority to new President, Vishal Sahay. AMFaces looing to Aerosol Jet for Facial Prostheses
AMFaces brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts and early career researchers from Univ. of Manchester, Univ. of Nottingham, Manchester Metropolitan Univ., and King’s College London for facial prostheses development to treat certain cancers or injuries affecting the nose, lips, eyes, ears, or skin. One of five research themes is novel additive manufacturing systems to produce high-fidelity silicone components using a high-viscosity reactive-jetting printer and a multi-axis aerosol jet printer for micro-features combined into a single device. Also, a scalable pipeline will be developed to transform patient imaging data for computerized production. Midori Sanchez-Sifuentes, is a PhD Research Student on the AMFaces project. Her work focuses on fabrication techniques & materials utilising Aerosol Jet printing.
