Dear Saint Augustine Catholic School Families,

We are so excited to announce that our School Spirit store is open!  We hope to see many families dressed in their SAS gear, sharing their SAS spirit at school and community events. Beginning in January, we have designated a Spirit Wear Day once a month for both students and staff.  We have chosen a Monday for these Spirit Days as students do not participate in PE. 

Any items purchased from the SAS Spirit Store may be worn on those specific days outlined below. If a student does not own any Spirit Wear, they may dress in PE or regular school uniforms on these designated dates.

Angels on the Run is this Saturday and we are still in need of volunteers, especially Safety Marshalls. It's easy...all you need to do is wave a flag and direct the runners. Please consider and sign up below! Thank you for helping to make this run a success!

NJHS will be hosting a food drive from November 6th-29th. The class assignments are listed below. Students can place their donations in the designated box in their classrooms. These donations will go to the families we will be supporting during Christmas Adopt-a-Family. Thank you for your support!

PreK-3: Cereal

PreK-4: Apple Sauce

Kindergarten: Oatmeal

1st grade: Macaroni and Cheese

2nd grade: Pasta and tomato sauce

3rd grade: Tuna

4th grade: Cooking Oil

5th grade: Canned Beans

6th grade: Peanut Butter and Jelly

7th grade: 1lb bags of rice

8th grade: Canned soup or vegetables

All 2nd-4th grade Book Club Members - Our next meeting will be on Friday, December 8th.

Students should purchase or borrow the book, "Teeny Houdini and The Giant Panda Plan", by Katrina Moore and read it prior to our December date. The club will meet during lunch period to eat, discuss the book and spend time getting to know each other better.

The Safe Schools Maryland Anonymous Reporting System is a wonderful FREE tool that helps schools. Looking ahead to the 2024-2025 school year.

It's hard to believe we are already planning for the 2024-2025 school year, but the time is here. Below is a brief survey link we are asking each family to complete. We would appreciate you completing the survey as soon as possible as this will help us with enrollment planning.
