PRESENTATION TONIGHT!

We invite all parents to attend the Safe Schools Maryland Anonymous Reporting System Presentation

MCSS has scheduled several monthly presentations to inform parents/guardians about the Safe Schools Maryland Anonymous Reporting System!

The next presentations is tonight, October 25th. Register today for the Safe Schools Maryland Parent/Guardian Presentation using the following link

https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=20399306&appointmentType=36637332

We are offering these group presentations as refreshers or as an opportunity for new parents to be acquainted with the Safe Schools Maryland

Anonymous Reporting System.

This 30-minute virtual presentation for parents will teach attendees what Safe Schools Maryland is, how it works, and how they can help keep their schools safer. These presentations will be held on several dates each month, so choose the date that works best for you.

Our Maryland Center for School Safety staff will be available for questions after the presentation. You must sign up so your school receives credit for your attendance. Please be sure to include your school's name in the

"Name of School" field.

We hope you will join us to learn how each of us can contribute

to a safe school environment.

BREAKFAST & SNACK TIME

Did you know that many kids in grades Prek-8th report that they do not eat breakfast before school? We frequently have students visit the nurse to complain of hunger related symptoms such as headaches and stomachaches. Research shows that children who eat breakfast can concentrate better and are ready to participate in school compared to those who skip breakfast.

STUDENT COUNCIL NEWS

We are excited to host our first open house on Friday, November 10th. If you have any friends who are looking to join our school, please #ShareTheGood. If you have any questions, or know someone who would like to schedule a tour please contact Jennifer Ross at [email protected]
