New Arrival Traffic Pattern Effective Immediately

As you may have noticed this morning, we are implementing a new arrival procedure in efforts to alleviate the congestion on Old Washington Road. Please follow the traffic pattern and pull forward to the lower Preschool doors to drop off all students. Mr. Miller, Mrs. Kaplan, and the 8th grade safety team will be outside to help students exit their vehicles. If staff and safeties are waving you forward, please follow their guidance. Older students will follow the sidewalks to the main entrance while our PreK students will still be able to enter through the PreK doors.

*Please do not pass cars in the line unless directed by a staff member. 

Families are also welcome to park in the back lot and walk their students to the main entrance.

Note for Middle School Families: Middle School Conferences will be held on October 20th and October 26th, 2023. Due to the number of students in our middle school, we will be offering conferences to all 6th grade families and new families at these designated times. As we approach the midpoint of the trimester, we will also open up conference slots for families of students with academic concerns.

Student Ambassadors are Needed!

Are you interested in helping with an Open House? Could you help to showcase our school?

We are looking for a few students to act as Student Ambassadors for different activities, school functions and open houses. Students must submit a two paragraph essay by Friday, October 6th to Mrs. Ross. The topic of the essay is "Experience the SAS difference! What does that statement mean to you?" 

Open House Dates: 

Open House, 11/10/23 (Friday), 10:00-11:30am

Pk - 8th Grade Open House, 01/28/23 (Sunday), 1:30-3:30pm

Essays can be brought into the office or shared with Mrs. Ross ([email protected]).

All 2nd-4th graders are invited to join the Book Club! 

Our first meeting will be on Friday, Nov. 2nd.

Students should purchase or borrow the book Big Foot Little Foot by Ellen Potter and read prior to our first meeting date. The club will meet during lunch period to eat, discuss the book and spend time getting to know each other better.

We are actively looking for volunteers for our youth programs at CCASTA for 2023-2024. We are in need of a kindergarten leader. Please help us fulfill this ministry for the youth of the parish.
